Entertainment Production Company is seeking a freelance Production Accountant with Docu Series production experience. Duration of project is 6 months to a year.
Responsibilities include:
• Process invoices, PO's, petty cash and credit cards
• Process non-union payroll
• Accurately track costs across multiple episodes
• Prepare all cost reporting - as needed weekly and monthly, including cost variance analysis
• Work closely with production management teams
• Ability to multi-task across more than one project at a time
• Very detail oriented - able to accurately track PC, reconcile CC activity, review ledger / payroll for accuracy
• Ability to work with budgets, do cost variance analysis, and track by episode including breakage
• Five or more years as an experienced episodic production accountant
• Experience with production accounting software such as Vista
• Excellent MS excel skills, including importing/exporting data, and creating templates/forms.
