Young independent production company seeking Production Designer/Set designer hybrid for a one-location fantasy feature film.
The ideal candidate will have worked on several productions as a Production Design/Set Design Assistant and is looking to make their mark as head Production Designer. We are looking for someone young and hungry to make a name and a career for themselves.
The project is financed but still in development. At first, you will be brought on as a part-time advisor then shift into a more full-time position once pre-production commences.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Ability to recognize inefficient workflows and provide streamlined solutions.
A passion for fantasy (LOTR, Game of Thrones-esque fantasy worlds)
Set Design experience
A network for set builders/designers you can draw from to hire for the production
Understand Sketch and how to utilize this program for iterations.
Minimum 1-2 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred in a creative field (art, design, etc.).
Highly creative and conceptual thinker
Self-disciplined, motivated
Strong organizational skills
Flexible team player who is able to take direction, offer a point of view, and collaborate with a variety of people.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
