Full service creative studio specializing in original and branded entertainment seeks highly motivated Production Department Coordinator. Qualified individuals will have commercial, feature film or television production experience. Ideal candidates will have experience working closely with Executive Producers and/or Directors. Looking for a self-starter who is extremely organized, tech savvy, creative and detail oriented with strong communication skills and multitasking ability.
Full Time Position Duties Include:
• Provide overall assistance to Executive Producer, Head of Production and Director(s)
• Managing calendars, schedule and conference calls
• Answering and rolling calls
• Assist in research and bidding of new projects
• Assist in creative development of pitch materials
• Management and organization of in house company media
• Assistance in company press and social media
• Create executive expense reports
• Organize equipment and supplies
Skills and Qualifications Include:
• College Degree Required
• Minimum 1-2+ years of experience in commercial, feature or television production
• Excellent organization skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent computer and technology skills: InDesign, Photoshop, iPad, iPhone, iCal, Wiredrive, Exchange, Dropbox (Not all required, will train)
• Editorial experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and polite phone manner
• Strong people skills and ability to communicate with executives, directors, sales and marketing representatives, assistants and staff at all levels
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, adapt in a high paced work environment and maintain professionalism under pressure
• Team player with positive outlook, enthusiasm and desire to advance in the entertainment industry
• Proactive problem solving
• Strong follow through and budding leadership abilities
