Seeking PRODUCTION COORDINATOR in Berkeley, CA (Freelance or Full-Time candidates)
MUST be local to the San Francisco / East Bay area.
Award-winning, full-service, boutique production company with offices in CA and NY has an immediate opening for a Production Coordinator with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively multi-task on a variety of projects. You'll be working under our Production Manager and company Partner in our Berkeley office. Responsibilities include working on commercial and live projects from pre-production through production. Looking for someone with strong communication skills and client-friendly demeanor.
Experience with Live Events, Film/TV, or Event/Trade Show production strongly preferred.
The range of tasks is broad; including, but not limited to:
• Office organization and assistance
• Assist Production Manager with payroll, invoicing, booking crew, renting gear, production needs, etc.
• As needed, assist with creating budgets and proposals on current and new business.
• Work with and/or research established or new vendors for office and/or project needs.
• Assist with any crew/client needs during productions.
• Track and manage expenses for jobs and the office.
• As needed, perform office runs and/or buy supplies
Past credits as a coordinator or office assistant required. Knowledge of Mac, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and budgeting preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps / Photoshop a plus. Knowledge of local vendors and venues also a plus.
