This unique position requires a good understanding of the production process for film and television and the needs of a production company in general, prior negotiation experience and a familiarity with production vendors, competency with math and numbers, salesmanship, event management and at least some experience with contracts, highly desired. The work will take place M - F at our San Fernando Valley office.
The ideal candidate will have a production degree, be reliable, and extremely well organized and posses good writing skills and a professional demeanor as well as have at least 2 to 4 years of paid experience with main stream productions such as features, TV, commercial, or reality productions (preferably on set and on location or event planning and/or venue management background). We're a PC based office and you must be capable with Microsoft Office, Word, Excell, Outlook, etc. Must have reliable transportation and be familiar with the L.A. area. Please have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to bring energy into this position.
Any prior leadership experience in either production or non-production positions should be outlined in your cover letter along with other certificates and / or degrees and/or talents like photography / photoshop, etc., whether or not production related like Real Estate, property management experience or former or current BRE licence, etc. may be useful. Only those submissions that include a cover letter and salary requirements in the body of the email will be considered.
