Creative Services Company producing multiple short-form original series for major cable networks, original content for You Tube, EPKs, feature films, etc. is seeking an Associate Producer/Producer. Position will report directly to the Executive Producer.
You MUST HAVE DIRECT EXPERIENCE producing junket shoots, conducting interview, and covering red carpet events with host talent.
Other work may include:
• Helping facilitate various aspects of pre-production, production and post-production.
• Developing a clear understanding of a client's ''brand'' - i.e. The look, style and approach to every series produced for a network.
• Working closely with the post production team to ensure correct and timely deliverables to a client.
• Writing and Producing sizzle/sales reels.
• Producing original content for YouTube; including, but not limited to, web series, etc.
Requirements
• The ability to not only interview filmmakers and celebrities from a pre-approved list of questions but also have the experience to make sure we are getting the full breadth of material to ''make the show''.
• Strong Junket interview experience is a must. A good sense of film history is recommended.
• Strong people skills to navigate the politics of network, studio and publicists.
• Experience working with crews, schedules and budgets a must.
• Understanding of junket etiquette a must.
• Experience in the edit bay - either as producer, editor or preditor.
• Ability to work with editor to meet very fast turnarounds.
• The ability to take direction / execute editorial notes and changes from both the E.P. and the network.
• Ability to work with talent (host) and crew in a very fast paced environment to shoot the necessary stand ups, questions and sign offs.
• Ability to direct talent, speak the language of performance, and improvise from a production standpoint when the need presents itself.
• Familiarity with digital production workflow for television and film.
• Sales experience a plus.
