Emmy Award Winning Creative Services Company producing multiple short-form original series for major cable networks, original content for You Tube, EPKs, feature films, etc. is seeking an Associate Producer/Producer. Position will report directly to the Executive Producer. THIS IS A FULL TIME, SALARIED POSITION. Work may include:
• Help facilitate various aspects of pre-production, production and post-production.
• Liaise with Post-Production team and clients to aid smooth workflow.
• Develop a clear understanding of a client's ''brand'' - i.e. The look, style and approach to every series produced for a network.
• Cover junket shoots and conduct interviews.
• Cover Red Carpet events with host talent.
• Work closely with the post production team to ensure correct and timely deliverables to a client.
• Brainstorm new business development, and bring in new business where applicable.
• Write and Produce sizzle/sales reels.
• Produce original content for YouTube and other digital mediums; including, but not limited to, web series, etc.
• Book crew and/or deepen list of crew contacts.
• Coordinate and/or book travel, locations and camera equipment when applicable.
• All other tasks as assigned by management/
Requirements
• The ability to interview filmmakers and celebrities from a pre-approved list of questions and ensure we get the full breadth of material needed.
• Strong Junket interview experience and etiquette.
• Strong people skills to navigate the politics of network, studio and publicists.
• Experience working with crews, schedules and budgets a must.
• Experience in the edit bay - either as producer, editor or preditor.
• The ability to work with editors to meet very fast turnarounds.
• The ability to take direction / execute editorial notes and changes from both the E.P. and the network.
• The ability to work with talent (host) and crew in a very fast paced environment to shoot the necessary stand ups, questions and sign offs.
• The ability to direct talent, speak the language of performance, and improvise from a production standpoint when the need presents itself.
• Strong writing skills.
• Familiarity with digital production workflow for television and film.
• A good sense of film history is recommended.
• Sales experience a plus.
