Personal and Administrative Assistant needed for a busy elderly CEO who is a very high profile public individual and a retired Air Force Colonel.
We are a small company of 4 employees and you'd be a valued member of a team. We like to work as a team and each person has specific duties but we support each other in other areas as needed. In addition to assisting the CEO with his personal needs you'd take direction from both him and the company's manager.
Having Caregiver experience is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years experience preferred. The executive prefers to have a live in assistant who would have their own room with en suite bathroom, all home living expenses covered including food, utilities, etc…along with salary and health benefits after 90 day trial period. Duties include taking care of personal errands like filling prescriptions, driving to doctor's appointments and meetings, grocery shopping. This person would also act as an administrative assistant and would need to have computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office and do research on the internet. Knowledge of space and science and experience with Mac & PC a plus.
Below is a description of some of the expected duties:
Duties:
* Coordinating employer's calendar with manager by setting, monitoring, and confirming appointments; reminding employer of schedules.
* Protects employer's time by screening, researching, and managing correspondence, messages, telephone calls, and visitors; resolving issues.
* Arranges appointments for medical services; scheduling and supervising housekeepers; running errands; shopping for necessities and gifts.
* Anticipates assistance needed by identifying problems, needs, options, and solutions before being asked.
* Provides administrative services by drafting correspondence; transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data and graphics; establishing and maintaining files and records.
* Maintains employer's privacy by keeping information confidential.
