Entertainment Marketing Agency seeking a part-time Project Manager. Project Managers manage the comprehensive scope of projects from inception to delivery. Their core objective is to facilitate the means to take a project to full client delivery, while maintaining quality standards and preserving agency brand. Project Managers are also responsible in managing internal projects that align with agency goals and vision.
Key Responsibilities
• Support internal and external teams in the research, development, and management of client projects; ensure execution in accordance with specifications; managing logistics from inception through project deliverables
• Serve as liaison for client projects and professionally manage relationship
• Read scripts and/or watch screeners to create a clear synopsis and creative brief for each project
• Schedule Independent Contractors and Specialty Artists; ensuring adequate pipeline of freelance talent is available to complete projects
• Ensure constant, clear, and concise communication with internal teams and clients on project milestones, timelines and revisions to avoid misrepresentations
• Take clear notes during all project team/client interactions, calls for revisions, crits, etc.
• Review client feedback and comments; capture changes in project scope; communicate these internally, to vendors, as well as to the client (includes managing change in scope) and reconcile accordingly
• Manage challenges with composure and professionalism; take initiative for a solution-based approach
• Conduct special research reports when necessary, prepare presentation materials, and complete special assigned tasks; all with discretion and independence
• Manage and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
• Job responsibilities subject to change and contingent upon business needs
Requirements
• College degree, preferred but not required
• Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in project management within a creative environment/entertainment
• EXTREME attention to detail and highly organized
• Ability to work independently with demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to seamlessly transfer information internally and externally
• Capability in maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion
• Strong strategic, analytical and critical problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills; coordinating special projects and initiating collaboration with other key staff on a broad range of tasks; TEAM oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; consistent and effective communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and take initiative
• Exceptional knowledge and experience working with Apple products, Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of box.com and/or similar sites
