This summer the Minerva Foundation will be launching a new incubator in the SF bay area aimed at supporting ventures at the intersections of entertainment, art and technology. Selected projects will be granted 20k as well as a work/office space in our Victorian mansion in Berkeley. We will be hosting weekly dinners, happy hours, and talks with distinguished guests from across the arts, sciences, and tech. 2014 is our ''beta,'' round and participants are encouraged to get involved in the discussion about how to best shape the program. We are particularly interested in projects involving gaming, transmedia, and interactive storytelling.
We are currently hiring an operations manager (5-6 month contract) -- preferably someone who already works seasonally for a related event or organization. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new organization while creating a unique community for artists, entrepreneurs, and technologists.

- Handles communications with incubator projects, fellows, and interns
- Ensures that all visitors, speakers, and guests receive excellent hospitality

-Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes
-Attention to detail
-Exceptional time management skills and accountability
-Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
-Team player with an ability to work collaboratively
-Strong ''people skills,'' outgoing personality
-Strong interest in entrepreneurship, the arts, technology, and science.
