We are an independent marketing agency specializing in music licensing and talent procurement in a busy, creative, and casual office located in NYC.
We are looking for a strong, confident, ''take charge'' individual who gets excited when faced with a challenge, and will not take no for an answer. You need to be organized and detail oriented, with excellent administrative and tech skills and a strong ability to multitask. SELF AWARENESS and a great sense of humor a MUST!
A pro-active attitude with a good dose of enthusiasm is essential. As a part of our team, you will be given many high priority tasks; your ability to clearly communicate and prioritize is a must!
This position is part assisting the CEO, part supporting the rest of the team, and anything else that comes through the door. Our CEO has very high standards/expectations for his team members. Thoroughness, attention to detail and follow through is essential for each and every task assigned, no matter how small. Not getting easily overwhelmed is a necessity.
Duties include:
• Answering phones/greeting guests
• Purchasing office supplies and negotiating vendor relationships
• Overseeing office maintenance
• Hiring and managing interns
• Scheduling business/CEO calendars
• Manage IT internally and interface with our external IT team
• Create and edit company marketing materials
• Brand /Business Development research
• Managing company website and social media posts
• Other admin tasks
Requirements:
Must be computer-savvy with knowledge of both MAC and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint is essential, iTunes and Internet researching tools, as well as basic troubleshooting abilities. Photoshop, Illustration, HTML and other web design skills a plus! One year administrative experience required.
