Bi-coastal Talent Agency seeks an Office Manager to oversee a fast-paced operation in its New York City location
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Train, support and effectively manage mailroom staff.
· Oversee the mailroom to ensure that all incoming and outgoing mail shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and timely; includes in-house mail distribution and delivery.
· Oversee dispatch.
· Maintain general office supplies, including kitchen.
· Upkeep fax machines, copy machines, and assist IT to maintain and support computer users.
· Attend to general office concerns and issues regarding common-area office equipment, facilities, property/building, as appropriate; facilitates resolution of concerns/issues when responsibilities fall upon third parties, such as vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
· A successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a mailroom or facilities manager, fluidly managing personnel in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize, be flexible, and attend to multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Must possess strong communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of employees and outside vendors.
· Must take initiative to complete work and handle requests in a timely manner.
