POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the VP of Operations, the office assistant will be the first voice that incoming callers hear when they dial into our office and the first face they see upon arriving for meetings. The ideal candidate for this position will be friendly, congenial, and enthusiastic. They will be able to handle multiple calls as well as ad hoc projects in an incredibly fast-paced environment. There is room to assume some increased bookkeeping and office management responsibilities, creating opportunity for someone who is hungry to learn.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• General reception work including answering/directing calls, greeting guests, conference room and other scheduling
• Variety of administrative and clerical tasks including data entry, office supply ordering, etc.
• Some facility vendor management as well as ad hoc office-related projects
• This job has a huge potential for growth with a company that frequently promotes from within!
QUALIFICATIONS
• Enthusiastic personality and excellent in-person, verbal, and written communication skills
• Highly organized
• Strong willingness to learn
• Experience with MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a rapidly evolving, fast paced culture
• Passion for independent film and a personal alignment to the goal of better connecting stories with audiences around the world
