Looking for a strong freelance newspaper writer. Pay per article. You will do research, make phone calls, conduct interviews over the phone and in person, write stories, and other tasks as assigned. Must be available to come to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles, but you will go out on stories in various Los Angeles neighborhoods including Compton, Watts, and Inglewood, along with downtown Los Angeles. You will be expected to deliver several stories as assigned per week, along with various other tasks. You must also be able to generate great local story ideas.
Must have a firm grasp of the English language, must know how to tell a great story, and must always meet each deadline each time, no exceptions, no excuses. If you're lazy or a procrastinator, this is not for you. If you're an overachiever who will deliver ahead of schedule and deadline each week, you may be the perfect fit!
