Search for Music Coordinator jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Emmy Award winning production company looking for a temporary (possibly leading to permanent) Music Coordinator to join the team in our LA (Culver City Adjacent) offices. Under the direction of the Executive in Charge of Music, this position will be responsible for acting as the department's music coordinator across multiple projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing music cue sheets, file transfers and maintaining music drives.
• Preparing licensing quote requests.
• Maintaining strong relationships with music production libraries.
• Fielding music requests from various productions.
• Researching industry trends, emerging talent and news related to music in Television & Film.
• Updating various excel grids, music files and maintain timelines for numerous productions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Music/Entertainment Industry or related field is preferred.
• 2 years' experience in music-related field, preferably as a music coordinator in TV.
• Hands on cue sheet experience.
• Basic knowledge of music licensing.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
• Strong organization skills and pay high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and execute on tasks and handle multiple, diverse assignments.
• Produces quality work and be accountable.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Demonstrates ability to be innovative and suggest change/improvements within scope of work.
• Anticipates needs and creates efficient and effective processes.
• Self-starter, self-motivated and takes responsibility/ownership of tasks.
• Thinks outside the box proactively, strategically and analytically.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing situation.
