JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Create, update and maintain venue technical addendums
- Build event budgets and supply management team with project estimates as necessary
- Maintain a department budget while managing individual show expenses
- Create and maintain an inventory and maintenance log for all owned equipment
- Work closely with venue managers and booking staff
- Responsible for scheduling production staff and managing crews
- Advance technical riders and requirements with tour staff, negotiating details as necessary for all shows
- Oversee maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video systems advising on repairs when needed
- Ability to interface with corporate clients & event producers in a collaborative and professional manner
- Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
- Maintain a detailed filing system of all show files
- Be a strong problem solver, finding working solutions to unique and unforeseen challenges
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must posses a love for music and the creative experience
- Calm, professional and level headed
- Minimum 3 years prior experience in an entertainment venue.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience with live touring bands
- Strong interest in the technical details of all things lighting, audio, video.
- Basic knowledge in rigging, truss & staging
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize and make clear concise decisions; sometimes with limited information.
- Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
PREFERRED:
- Previous experience in the Bay Area
- College Degree (completed or in progress)
