Non-profit organization seeks a reliable online content writer to craft multimedia stories and social campaigns for its brand spankin' new website. As our web editor, you will help us modernize our company's web presence and reach new audiences. Ideally, you have sharp writing and editing skills, are equally web design savvy, keep up with the latest online/social media trends, and have a proven ability to draw readers in. Assignments will be given on a project to project basis.
Responsibilities:
• build authentic stories to support the organization's missions, using different content types (including video, graphics and text)
• find & develop sources for content production (using in-house media & content)
• profile and better engage with current communities and target audience
• ability to produce SEO-friendly content and snappy teaser text for our revamped website
• liaise with our offices across the US & our in-house media production team on a regular basis to collect photos & videos for the website
Requirements:
• can manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• flexibility to work extended hours/weekends to meet project deadlines
• organized beyond belief
• positive & flexible attitude is a must!
• min. 2 years of online writing, editing, content management, and social media experience?
