As a Media Prep Technician, you will be responsible for prepping content that requires a quick turnaround. You will need to be a hybrid person skilled in all aspects of the content supply chain: QCing, editing, transcoding and content delivery. Team members should have an understanding of the many different file types and tools needed to quickly and accurately process content prior to due dates. Media Prep team will need to be able to clearly and effectively communicate with other departments in Media Operations team. This role requires focus and determination to execute and distribute these assets properly and in a timely manner, keeping in line with our focus on reliability and availability.
-Edit and transcode various digital content to fulfill distribution requirements
-Quality Control of assets to ensure content is at highest quality and to the correct spec of respective clients
-Using workflow tools to create, track and deliver content
-Comprehensively track and reconcile work orders for creation and delivery of files
-A minimum of 2 years of experience in either a broadcast operations or post-production environment?
-A minimum of 2 years of experience on Non Linear Editing Systems (specifically Final Cut Pro)?
-A minimum of 1 years of experience on with Quality Control
-A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer facing role?
-A minimum of 1 year of experience of all Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel)
