We are a rapidly growing Advertising/Media Buying Agency looking to add to our support staff.

Job Title: Media Coordinator
Department: Media
Reports To: Senior Media Buyer
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Supports the Media Supervisor or Media Buyer in their day-to-day activities. Works to strengthen their existing knowledge base of preparation for planning, evaluating, and buying advertising media across a variety of venues including television, radio, outdoor, newspaper, magazine, and internet by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Assists by trafficking proper copy assignments and rotations to the stations.*
2. Requests station pre-logs as needed.*
3. Audits media post logs to determine clearance.*
4. Compiles post log data to create client post invoices.*
5. Generates client pre-invoices to reflect ordered media.*
6. Compiles client call data into analysis reports.*
7. Requests post logs from stations while adhering to the time frame in which they need to be received.*
8. Provides support to the Media Department as needed.*
9. Monitors buys in progress by spot checking accuracy of clearance versus ordered media.*
10. Maintains the timely submission of pre and post invoices as well as internal buyer account analysis.*
11. Maintains e-files.*
12. Assists in resolving discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.*
13. Analyzes CPC and ROI on an account level.*
14. Orders and confirms media buys under the supervision of a Senior Buyer.*
15. Develops a strong working knowledge of Core Direct Media Management software.*
16. Maintains good relationships with representatives and their assistants.*
17. Communicates work related matters to buyers in a timely fashion.*
18. Demonstrates the ability to conclude and deliver buy recommendations in order to optimize future media purchases.*
19. Adheres to deadlines with minimal supervision.*
20. Demonstrates interest in the entire scope of buying assignments.*
21. Backs up Media and Office Assistants as necessary.
22. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Media Management Software.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done efficiently
• Detail oriented
• Strong character, motivated, and results oriented
• Ability to adjust to work flow and plan work accordingly
• Ability to be a team player and be positive
