Marketing and Social Media Manager - Record Label - Nashville
Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee, strategize, and schedule all social media aspects (content creation, posting, analytics, message inboxes) for the label, including all artists (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) as well as Brand Socials
- Send weekly social media reports highlighting each artist (on each platform) to staff members highlighting successes
- Take artists to visit social media accounts (LA and NYC) to introduce new technology, perform, stat run through, etc.
- Oversee all digital marketing aspects of the label group which include:
• Label website
•Updating news articles
•Add/remove artists and or pages
•Overall design and functionality
•Smart URLs
•Create and monitor Youtube / Vevo / Vimeo
•Upload videos
•Keep all information up to date (links, banners, artwork, etc.)
- Design, build, and execute online marketing campaigns targeted around single releases, album releases, contesting, tour promotion, etc. via Tunespeak and Metablocks
- Compile a list of needs and wants to be filmed at artist media day for album/single release and execute onsite the day of
- Set up all artist signings/performances/transportation/merch items as well as ordering all aspects of the booth build for the label booth at CMA Fest. Execute onsite week of.
Strengths Needed:
•Great communication - communicating on behalf of the label and its artists in new, fresh, fun ways to constantly grab the eyes of our fans and grow each individual fan base
•Design skills / content creation / video & photo editing - create fresh images / promotion tools using assets provided by the label creative team to promote the label and its artists
•Creativity - Bring new ideas to the table on how best to promote singles, albums, tours, etc.
•Time management - Very fast paced environment - on the clock 24/7 - social media never stops
•Webpage development / design - upkeep label website, general maintenance

•Photoshop
•InDesign
•Premiere
•Illustrator
•iMovie
•Word Press
•Smart URL
•Excel
•Word
