One of the largest independent producers of television programming in the country is looking for a lively, inquisitive, and hungry manager of development to join our team. You should be extremely passionate about reality television, love coming up with new show concepts and be equally driven to execute them.
While we strongly believe that our next hit can come from anyone, whether it's the CEO or the janitor, we do require some experience. You should haveā¦
- -At least 2 years of experience in development at a coordinator or manager level
- -Ambitions about moving up in your career
- -Great writing skills with examples of your work
- -An impressive understanding of the reality landscape
- -Follow up skills
- -Strong organizational skills that include attention to detail
We provide programming to a variety of networks including truTV, Discovery Channel, Speed, BET, History, A&E, TLC, MTV and Travel Channel. Our production credits include competition-elimination, documentaries, adventure travel, home improvement and docu-comedy formats.
This is a full-time position with company benefits, paid sick and vacation time, and a 401(k).
