Search for Line Producer, Feature jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Looking for an experienced line producer for an independent, low-budget feature-length SAG movie.
While this is a lower budget film, the producers and director have deferred their payment to make sure we can pay as close as possible to standard rates.
The candidate must be very creative, resourceful and persistent in the pursuit of all the myriad prerequisites and aspects of filmmaking, and will not stand for compromising creativity despite budgetary constraints.
The candidate will be responsible for creating the budget for this feature film, which will be under $1M. Must have a solid understanding of locations for scheduling and budgeting and have experience with budgeting for feature films. Must be an expert with Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling, proficient in the indie budget world and have excellent communication skills, with an acute attention to detail. Candidate will work closely with production team throughout the production cycle.
Please respond with references, resume and a cover letter.
There are currently two anticipated start dates based on a 30 day shoot schedule: 1) July 10, 2017, or 2) July 24, 2017. This schedule is based on a 5 day, Monday through Friday week.
Possible shooting locations: LA or NYC
Pre-production is tentatively set for the first week of June.
Note: Candidate will ideally be able to recommend an extremely capable, imaginative and highly creative production designer who can work with low budgets.
