The world's leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking an assistant to support an executive in the Lifestyle - Licensing department.
The Licensing department works across the agency to help extend the brand of artists, personalities, and lifestyle properties, developing new creative opportunities in the consumer products and retail space.
Responsibilities
• General clerical and administrative duties including handling phones, rolling calls, managing calendars, expenses, and office management.
• Assists in the product development process by tracking product status, maintaining constant communication between parties, and providing feedback on product samples.
• Research current market trends and industry news, and sharing with the Licensing Executive and the team.
• Maintain an awareness of the Executive's obligations in order to proactively assist and/or anticipate needs.
• Assist with business tracking grids.
• Assemble welcome packets for new licensees.
• Coordinate logistics for tradeshows.
Qualifications
• At least 1-2 years of Administrative Assistant experience.
• General understanding of product development, brand marketing, consumer products, and/or client servicing. Must have an interest in developing a career in licensing and brands.
• Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects and expectations; and maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities.
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills are a must.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite and in particular Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Adept at quickly learning new processes and technology. Experience with Dependable Rights Manager (''DRM'') software is preferred.
Education
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
