Full-Time Position (Monday - Friday, 9:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.)
Job Summary: A boutique entertainment law firm in Sherman Oaks, seeking a Legal Assistant to join its team. This Legal Assistant will primarily support one to two attorneys in an administrative and light transactional paralegal capacity.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
• Redlining various agreements.
• Organizing and indexing paper and electronic files.
• Creating and maintaining form agreement database.
• Calendaring and scheduling meetings, appointments, travel and deadlines.
Skills and Competencies:
• Must be attentive to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Must be able to follow instructions and multitask.
Qualification and Prior Experience:
• At least two years of experience working in a professional work environment with high profile executives and contacts.
• Proficient typing, transcription, knowledge of office equipment and office applications (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Google Drive).
• Entertainment experience and a Bachelor's degree are a plus.
