Prominent entertainment law firm in Santa Monica seeks a recent or May 2016 law graduate to serve as a full-time Law Clerk/Executive Assistant for busy senior partner. Position would be unique learning opportunity and possible springboard into entertainment industry career.
Ideal candidate must be proactive at organization and capable of multi-tasking and effectively and efficiently servicing needs of partner and clients. Excellent oral/written communication skills are mandatory. Good computer skills are required. Sharp attention to details essential. Position requires management of partner's life and work and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Position is akin to a judicial clerkship but in the context of working for a practicing entertainment attorney, along with traditional legal assistant duties. No guarantee of continued employment or eventual hire by firm as an attorney, but would provide invaluable experience to a motivated law graduate with an interest in entertainment law.
