We currently have a Junior Post Production Assistant opening. This is an ENTRY LEVEL position with a chance of a permanent spot for the correct individual.
LOOKING FOR:
• Someone who has recently completed a TV / Film university program or trade school with a strong desire to work in post-production.
• Someone willing to collaborate, learn and work in editing, motion graphics, color grading, online, mastering, prepping files and all other aspects of post.
CREATIVE SKILLS:
• Video Editing
• Motion Graphics
APPLICATIONS KNOWLEDGE:
• Avid Media Composer
• Adobe Premiere
• Final Cut Pro 7 or Final Cut Pro X
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
OTHER SKILLS
• Understanding of Video Formats and Codecs
• Some knowledge of ProTools or Web applications is a plus
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• A team player and collaborator.
• Self motivated.
• A quick learner.
• Proactive with problem solving.
• Tech oriented.
• Professional work ethics.
• Able to multitask as needed.
• Willing to follow instructions.
AVAILABILITY:
• 3 days per week as a trial period to start.
• If everything works out, 3 or more days per week will be required.
• Own reliable transportation w/ insurance.
COMPENSATION:
• Compensation will depend on current experience and the ability to learn new skills.
LOCATION:
• You must be located in Los Angeles or surrounding areas.
