Exclusive Boutique PR Firm that is bi-coastal is looking to expand its New York presence and gain a stronger and consistent foothold there.
The firm is looking to hire and experienced Junior Publicist with 1- 3 years of experience coming from an agency setting to assist the company in that regard. This person will be the right hand to the company's core Los Angeles office handling all needs of LA and NY clients when it comes to coordinating interviews, attending photo sessions and television interviews, handling red carpets, press junkets, film festivals etc. Will be able to pitch local and national media with ease and have strong writing skills. Have worked on servicing press hits, tracking breaks, compiling reporters, creating press mock ups, networking, keeping track of scheduling, managing calendars, and more.
Person must the a self starter, be able to managing itineraries and travel arrangements, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. Is involved in the day to day fabric of New York City. Will be able to communicate effectively with LA Office, take direction, be passionate and punctual and know how to handle A list clients when they come through New York as well as be first point of contact for clients that live in New York.
Will also attend new business meetings, network and assist in bringing new business into the fold.
We are looking for someone sharp, level headed who may work at a larger firm but wants more autonomy, responsibility, money and ability to grow quickly within another prestigious organization looking to spread its wings to the East Coast.
Entertaining all types of candidates from junior publicist assistant level with 1- 2 years experience to someone more seasoned with 3 - 5 years of experience with an existing book of business.
