Title: Jr. Project Manager
Location: South Pasadena, CA
Experience Required: 2-3 years of project coordination or management experience
Employee/Freelance: Full Time or Contract, possibly Temp to Perm

Core Responsibilities
• Lead projects internally, which includes:
o Task-tracking (communicate and distribute action items internally and externally)
o Quality assurance (ensures all requested edits are executed without error prior to client delivery AND that grammar are spelling are 100% correct)
o Knowing the SOW inside and out and flagging scope creep to Manager
o Managing and maintaining timeline / calendar (monitor production schedules and deliverables; hold team members accountable on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis)
o Working closely with creative and strategy teams to make sure deliverables are clearly understood and produced on-time
o Working closely with account lead to ensure client objectives are met
o Conducting competitor research and analysis
o Sourcing vendors, resources, materials and products
• Create and maintain documentation for all projects from inception to completion, including:
o Kick-off call agenda
o Overall calendar
o Project estimate
o Project brief
o Meeting notes, agendas and action items for all meetings
o Client feedback
o Case studies, when applicable
• Lead projects externally, depending on experience level, which includes:
o Serving as primary POC for clients
o Liaising between client and team (e.g., interpreting feedback and turning it into actionable tasks)
o Participating in or leading client calls and written communications
o Preparing and making project deliveries
o Setting deadlines and holding the client accountable for meeting deadlines
• Serve as daily POC for the internal team, which includes:
o Providing written and verbal communications outlining project details, scope, timeline, and action items throughout the duration of projects
We are looking for a candidate who
• Demonstrates very strong written communication skills (this is a must for us)
• Is solution-oriented, proactive and team spirited
• Is a self-starter who can stay on task and problem solve
• Has no excuses about why you can't do something -- but ideas on how you can
• Has outstanding organizational, coordination, and critical thinking skills
• Is comfortable taking client calls and effectively translating feedback into constructive direction for other team members
• Has a bachelor's degree or higher in communications, advertising, journalism or related field
• Ideally has experience with Basecamp, Keynote, and the use of Excel to coordinate calendars and deliverables.
• Has 2-3 years of professional experience, ideally in a digital / creative agency
Salary
• $38,000 - $42,000, depending on experience, with 50% employee health benefits paid after approx. 60 days
