Primary Responsibility:
Provide daily administrative functions to the entire sales team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-Contact distributors for release dates, P&A and box office reports on a daily basis.
-Update internal databases with relevant contact, release, box office, and P&A information on a daily basis.
-Compile and send detailed box office reports for all titles in release to production partners on a weekly basis.
-Prepare and send availability reports, sales presentations, and announcements to distributors on a regular basis.
-Maintain and update product pricing and rights information in FilmTrack rights management system on a regular basis.
-Schedule all distributor meetings on behalf of the sales team in advance of international film markets.
-Print and assemble all sales and marketing ''books'' in advance of international film markets.
-Assist in the shipping and packing of office materials in advance of international film markets.
-Train interns on systems (phones, copier, fax, UPS, etc). Help delegate and manage intern duties.
-General administrative duties: routing calls, filing, updating contacts, travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, organizing day-to-day calendar, and expense reports.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree required. Preferred but not essential specialty in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Business, International Business, Management, Communication, Film or related area.
-Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel required; FilmTrack rights management a plus.
-Minimum of 1-2 years of entertainment industry experience. Related international sales experience preferred but not required.
-Possess superior, professional-level verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Ability to speak multiple languages a plus.
-Ability to demonstrate problem-solving ability and a keen attention to detail.
-Applicant must display professional maturity, presentation, confidence, and have the ability to deal professionally with the Executive Team.
The ideal applicant will be a high energy individual with the ability to prioritize work, multi-task efficiently, show good judgment, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced, creative environment under tight deadlines.
