Independent Film Production Company and Worldwide Sales Agent looking for an exceptional Sales Associate.
This is an exciting full time opportunity for someone with drive and desire.
You will be responsible for sales and licensing of programming across the company catalogue across all media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Close licensing agreements across all media for new productions and all library in respective territories.
- Manage licenses in your territories from initiating interest via pitching through to closing, contracting, and general support.
- Review new projects as and when required and provide detailed forecasting for all your territories (and others) as requested.
- Assist executives in devising and revising marketing and sales strategies for all content.
- Manage and update the database of Licensees and Platforms in all territories and maintain and promote good working relationships with them corresponding with them on a regular basis, understanding their business.
- Prepare and issue pitches, to promote the catalogue represented by the Company specific to availability and client requirements and maximize its potential.
- Establish and maintain reputation with broadcasters, distributors, etc
- Organize meetings and market events/attendance as required.
- Support scheduling for domestic and international film markets.
- Assist legal staff, and accounting, follow-up on client comments and signing process to ensure all contracts are fully executed by required deadlines.
Experience Required:
- 2 or more years experience in similar role,with exposure to film, production, attendance of international film markets (AFM, Cannes, EFM, etc)
- Track record selling to distributors and broadcasters
- Strong interpersonal skills, dynamic and energetic approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of the film environment including specific market knowledge regarding territories a benefit.
