Indie director/writer/producing team looking for stellar intern to fulfill the duties of assistant. Job is (at least) a 2 month gig. Team is currently in preproduction on their first feature film, which has been fully funded, with plans to take it to festivals. Pre production duties are part time and include: generating crew lists, keeping track of schedules, setting meetings, managing twitter account, answering phone calls & taking messages. A few days a week and short hours, 12 - 5pm.
Once the film moves into production (June) you will be on set with the directors every day. Your sole responsibility will be dealing with any crises the directors' may have, and some script supervising. You will be credited as Assistant to the directors.
This is a perfect job for a recent grad or summer internship. You WILL learn all aspects of filmmaking, from inception through production. We operate in a relaxed environment, must love dogs.
