Search for Intern - Social Media Marking jobs in West Hollywood-CA
Boutique production company in Los Angeles that produces luxury commercials and independent films is seeking a Marketing & Social Media intern. You, as our intern, are the go-to, savvy, social media tech genius, who knows the ins and outs of social media marketing. You are on top of the social strata, and know how to make all media platforms interact seamlessly, while remaining visually stunning. You know the quickest quips, the latest buzz, and most importantly - how to find information and share it, driving traffic back to us. You are excited to be a part of a growing team and can think outside the box.
Responsibilities
10 - 15 hours a week dedicated time to us. Flexible schedule - but must be able to post/plan posts for social media at the peak & prime times. Day to day will include evaluating current social media campaigns, submitting materials to promote the company or latest project, writing & posting Tweets/Facebook/Instagram updates, assisting with our company newsletter, editing materials (photo/video) for posting, and proposing & executing marketing plans for the company and our projects.
Requirements Seeking a degree in marketing, with focus on social media platforms. You have an interest in the industry. You are up to date on the latest marketing tools - you understand SEO, analytics, marketing best practices, and have education/experience in these areas. You have your own laptop, vehicle, and editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop or the like is recommended). You are familiar with branding. You are independent, a fast learner, and have a drive to get things done. If you are good at editing video, this is a huge bonus - Instagram is leaning more heavily on video and as a visual company, we are going with that trend. Writing skills are a must - you do not need to be the next Shakespeare, but you must understand spelling, grammar, and how to politely interact with people on the internet. Familiarity with project planning tools (i.e. Asana) is recommended for tracking, but not required.
