Responsibilities:
Pull listenership and ad revenue reports
Update midroll ad marker after each show
Promote show on Thursdays via Hootsuite (Facebook and Twitter) before the show goes live
Take BTS photos before and after the show
Take BTS videos for IG and Snapchat before and after the show
Find and create memes to post on social media
Create posts to promote upcoming shows for the month
Update website with guest quotes/showlinks/press/pictures
Research guests and begin outlines for each week
Research future guests and reach out to book them; then include in calendar
Compose follow up email to guest that includes picture and link for the guest to post on social media as well as ask them to provide a quote for our website
Research recent dating apps to feature on the show
Create Google Excel with all apps that have been covered
Create profile for the show on different dating apps as promotion for the show
Research similar podcasts and make recommendations to producers with how to better the show and make it comparable or better than what's out there today
Be in the room for the show, act as the third party
Research potential partners and collect contact info
Organize files into respective folders
Update passwords doc and any other docs that need updating
Organize emails into folders where appropriate so they are easier to find by category
Qualifications:
Film, New Media, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or Media-related major preferred
Excellent verbal and written skills
Detail oriented, perfectionist, and professionalism
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Great work ethic and resourceful
Up-to-date on Social Media trends and bloggers is a must
Experience with Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Mac proficiency, and editing tools required
