Job Title: Publicity Intern
Job Description: Small boutique PR firm, with an office in the heart of Hollywood, specializing in entertainment, is seeking 2 interns for the Spring. Gain hands on PR experience in all areas of the entertainment industry.
Duties:
PR administrative
Pitch building and learning to strategically build angles for client projects. Research media database. Monitor media & events. Status reporting. Small company duties. Covering red-carpet. Managing event production, from beginning to execution. Follow up reports. Servicing media post events. Researching sponsorship opportunities
Our clients range from corporate brands, actors, comedians, music, films, production, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR CANDIDATES
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry
- Urban entertainment/Media
- Pop Culture vulture
- Talent / Lifestyle PR seeker!
- Courses in Communications/PR preferred
- Previous industry experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Research genius
- Pro-active
- Social media PRO
- Creative!
Position is non-paid, but any and all expenses will be reimbursed.
Open to scheduling or part-time.
Must have your own car.
Be able to attend events in the evening and on weekends.
