Intern to professional female Pop producer/songwriter with major credits.
Ideally you:
-are a recording engineer or studying to be one
-are pro tools proficient (preferred as that is what I use, but would consider Live or Logic)
-have some programming or remixing skills
-play guitar (bonus!)
-have some awareness of recording studio etiquette, working with artists, etc
(if you are all of above, great! If you are some of above or working towards it, that's cool, too.)
You will gain experience and knowledge of:
-vocal production and arrangement
-song production
-programming
-mixing
-developing artists
-discovering and recognizing talent
-music biz
-songwriting
You will work with me at my private studio in the Beverly Grove area most of the time. Occasionally my sessions are at outside studios like The Village or United Recording. Hours are flexible and depend on the project and client, but generally sessions start 12/1pm and don't go terribly late. This position is unpaid but will consider paid position at a later date if all goes well and/or on a per project basis.
