We are looking for an intern that is interested in learning the business aspect of a fashion and entertainment company.
The EA intern will report directly to the Director of Operations, providing executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The ideal intern will assist in being the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the production studio. The ideal individual will have impeccable attention to detail, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
This internship program welcomes qualified applicants from colleges and universities, as well as graduates. A major goal of the program is to serve as a training ground for aspiring entertainment industry professionals. This program offers interns experiential learning and networking opportunities.
This position is perfect for any candidate that has been looking to develop a career in Entertainment!
Applicant should have some work experience dealing with administrative work and should be interested in learning about the entertainment field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in model castings for fashion shows
- Being on set, covering photo shoots for Social Media
- Help edit blog posts for online fashion magazine
- Work side by side with pre-production for music videos, live events, etc.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendar
- Plan meetings, handle all logistics and take meeting minutes
- Manage expense reports
- Create and distribute emails, communications, and letters
- Create and maintain reports, forms, and spreadsheets
- Develop and maintain a records/filing system
- Order office supplies and research new suppliers
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and communication skills
- Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Strong problem-solving skills and research skills
- Advanced organizational skills, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
