leading entertainment firm with television and film star clients is seeking intern for our Celebrity division. This position will start in a virtual role and with room for growth into a full-time paid position.
In order to qualify, you must have demonstrated administrative and computer experience including proficiency in MS Office suite and social media platforms. This means that you are proficient in email, both online and on smart phone, excel, word and power point, social media activities such as blogging or reading blogs, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. and informed about the broader social media world.
The second attribute that the candidate must posses is strategic thinking. A positive attitude, and the willingness to roll up your sleeves to help implement various tasks at your superiors direction will place you at the top of the list.
Additional duties: Assist with activating social media campaigns and define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership, and traffic across all brands. Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities (''marketing R&D'') * Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media.
Public Relations
Assist with pitches, press releases, emails and follow up. Monitor trends, service clients, track outreach, create status reports.
Attributes: The key attributes for this position include: Creativity, willingness to learn, ability to deal with uncertainty, ability to contribute individually, and lead as experience grows. Doggedness and determination, ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information. Excellent writing skills and a willingness to use them. Excellent verbal communication skills. Persuasiveness. Sense of humor!
