Part Time Unpaid Internship
Beverly Hills based development/production company with numerous feature films/TV series in different stages of development and production is looking for a highly qualified, motivated, and excitable development intern to start immediately. The intern will be learning film development first-hand with a production company that currently has multiple development deals in action; this includes everything from television to a majority being feature films.

The designated intern's duties would include (but not limited to) reading scripts/books, doing research, phoning into recommended talent's representation, researching production companies and agencies/ management companies, compiling lists of potential attachments, providing creative input, administrative duties, scheduling meetings, and generally working one-on-one with writers, directors, talent, etc.
This internship isn't for the faint of heart- this is the real deal wherein we'd love to have a go-getter onboard. You won't be writing coverage or lugging around coffee. We are seeking those that can take the bull by the horns, having serious expectations of one day developing their own films at a high quality caliber of filmmaking.
Internship will also include:
-- Being involved in every facet of development for a broad spectrum of different styles and genres of development (un-scripted reality to hard hitting feature films).
-- The ability to have active participation with these projects where a professional attitude will be expected as you experience, and possibly partake, in the stages required to generate high-level productions.
Requirements:
-- Voracious reader of scripts and viewer of films with plenty of original ideas to bring to the table
-- A passion for film as well as a backbone for development and the business acumen to take the experience and networking opportunity as a huge stepping stone in the early years of a fruitful and promising career in producing.
-- Research of all sorts- a true cinema and television lover that keeps up-to-date with innovative storytelling regardless of the genre or style.
-- Assisting in every facet of the development process for feature films and television shows that are currently taking off with largely well known partnerships/co-productions and serious talent to boot.
-- Must be available 2-3 days a week as we do not require more than a single day out of the week for a team meeting but expect continual communication as we update said intern on the ongoing progress of projects; expecting your genuine and well-thought input.
Specification requirements:
-- Fluency in Final Draft
-- Must own a working laptop
-- A concrete understanding of story, characters, the ''who's who'' of Hollywood, and continued upkeep on periodicals of this sort (Deadline, Vanity Fair, Indiewire, etc.)
