Internship Description:
This is a part-time, mainly remote internship that will give you the opportunity to work with Hollywood seasoned veterans as well as top up-and-coming producers, directors, and writers. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who is passionate about film and has a knowledge of social media management as well as digital content creation. The right candidate is a creative individual, knows how to use a camera, has basic editing skills and is looking to gain real world experience within the film industry. We are a relatively new company comprised of seasoned Hollywood professionals who have come together with a fresh take on content production ranging from short films, feature films to music videos and commercials.
Qualifications
-Ideally a bright student working towards completion of a film degree or fresh out of film school.
-Self motivated and driven for future success in the industry, especially in production and content development.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
-Exceptional communication and English language skills (reading, writing, speaking).
-Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
Requirements:
-Upkeep and maintenance of website with news about company projects and developments.
-Must be well versed in camera usage and have solid editing skills using basic software (eg. Final Cut, Adobe Premier).
-Must be well versed in social media (particularly Facebook), ability to come up with and execute creative content ideas and post on social channels on a weekly basis.
-Must be a 'people person' with a friendly demeanor as you may be asked to execute video interviews with talent and producers for promotional content creation.
-Must have reliable transportation and a driver's license as some field work may be required for content shoots.
-Able to dedicate a maximum of 10 hours per week for the internship.
