ACADEMIC CREDIT ONLY!
Proof of Enrollment Required prior to interview.
We are a Los Angeles based production company active in the world of commercials and music videos. We're looking for fresh young minds to train in our Creative Department. It's an opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of current film and television to work and train alongside many of the best industry professionals as they design treatments and pitch packages.
The Intern will be trained to conduct visual research - the process of culling reference imagery from films, photography and other visual media. A wide-ranging knowledge and love of films, commercials, TV shows, photography, and popular culture is helpful, as is a good eye for graphic design and a familiarity with typography. Candidates should have strong grammar and written skills and will be trained to proofread and polish text to a high level of excellence.
Candidates must be computer proficient on OS platform. Those with a background in any or all of: Keynote, InDesign, Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, Final Cut X, 7, Adobe Premiere, and web layouts may be preferred, as some light manipulation of images and files will be part of training. Candidates who have an understanding of editing software and video codecs may be eligible to be trained to work on more advanced marketing products.
Commercial production is a fast paced environment. We will help candidates learn to prioritize tasks and speak intelligently on processes, but candidates should have a positive attitude and be naturally comfortable working under pressure and fielding multiple requests from high level executives. Candidates should be reliable, presentable, well-spoken, and able to conduct themselves professionally while interacting with Executive Producers and Directors.
If you are a creative, driven, and team-oriented individual, this Internship could be a great opportunity to see how the world of live action commercial production works from beginning to end. We're very interested in the fresh outlook enthusiastic students have to offer. Please send us your resume, any visual or written samples which showcase your aesthetic, and tell us why you think you are the right person for this internship.
