A busy and up and coming youth culture media company seeks innovators and tastemakers that are tapped into the world of art, fashion, music and subculture in the greater Baltimore area. You will work with our team of filmmakers and creatives to create daily content across all social platforms promoting the rejuvenation of the city of Baltimore while working to engage and activate your audience in following along.
* Must have an established following on at least one or more social media platforms.
* Must be very involved in your community with an interest in helping it grow and thrive.
* An interest in filmmaking, marketing, and or social storytelling a plus.
* Must have a creative and resourceful mindset and collaborate well with others.
Position Responsibilities:
• Assistant project's main editor and filmmaker in an assistant editor capacity when needed including but not limited to: ingesting footage, syncing footage, prepping for onlining, mixing, grading footage.
• Assist Editors and Producers in managing day-to- day details to streamline the post-production process and maximize productivity
• Design graphics for both postings and videos, including but not limited to custom lower thirds, title cards, logos, GIFs, and memes.
• Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts, campaigns, and best practices to achieve monthly and annual goals for the initiative.
Qualifications:
• Extremely Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred NLE)
• Must be comfortable with most video codecs and formats
• Must be comfortable working in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
• Must be meticulous, technical, organized, and creative.
• Ability to work independently and under close direction
• Experienced in deadline driven environments
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Audition for color and/or sound finishing a plus
• Experience behind a camera and knowledge of lighting and sound design a plus
