Downtown Los Angeles-based company is currently seeking qualified candidates with a strong interest (and preferably experience) in animation production for an unpaid internship during the 2017 spring semester.
This position would entail organizing materials, communicating with the animation department, assisting the production team, attending meetings and taking notes. This is an excellent opportunity to work with experienced animators, producers, writers and talent on a well-known, highly-rated Adult Swim animated series while building your resume and making connections. Going forward, depending on the candidate's skills and needs of the production, there is the possibility of the position expanding into a full time paid production or animation assistant position.
All applicants should be:
Generally knowledgeable about the film/television industry, preferably with an interest in animation specifically
Proficient in Mac Operating Systems, Spreadsheet apps, Google Drive, and other office-related programs
Familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Have good organizational skills
Able to take direction and work with a team
Have strong communication (writing, oral, and presentation) skills
Enrolled in a college degree program or less than one year post-graduation
It would be really cool if candidates had…
On-set experience
Proficiency in Adobe Flash/Animate
Experience with video/audio editing in Adobe Premiere
Hours are roughly 9am-7pm and we ask that interns work 2 or 3 days per week, but we are flexible. While this position is unpaid, we offer free parking in DTLA, $15/day to spend on lunch, some pretty sweet crafty, and good times with chill people.
Please submit a resume and a short statement about yourself to if you think you're a good fit. We would love to meet you!
