Our A&R team is responsible for both finding and developing musical artists to sign as well as producing artists and driving creative content for all forms of media.
High Level Job Description:
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) managing and working for an SVP of A&R, Our Program is for students interested in working in the music industry designed to provide motivated and interested students with knowledge of the music entertainment industry. Give them hands on experience in the music industry. Students will receive back from the supervisor as well as learn from his experiences. Students will receive benefits going to industry networking events gaining variable insides on how the music industry work.
Specific responsibilities of this position often include office duties, helping to scout new bands, artists, and music, as well as attending shows and acting as a liaison between the A&R rep and the record label.
This position must often maintain and develop relationships directly with artists, scout and research new artists, songwriters, and producers, review demo submissions, cover shows, coordinate detailed bi-weekly A&R research reports and carry out other scouting projects. We will train the interns to how to develop these skills
Internship Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled as a Full Time Student
• Exceptional computer, written and verbal communication skills
• Should have at least sophomore year standing
• Must be able to legally work in the United States
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities
