The world's leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking a Recruiter to support their corporate Human Resources department in Los Angeles. The role will support full life cycle recruitment for various divisions across the agency.
The recruiter will be responsible for identifying top tier talent, maintaining proactive sourcing activities and ensuring qualified and diverse applicant pools are identified. This position will play an important role in finding and attracting the right people to the agency and maintaining our unique company culture.
Essential Responsibilities:
*Proactively source, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates using both traditional and creative recruiting methods. This includes posting jobs, pre-screening resumes, interviewing candidates both on the phone and in person, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection process.
*Sourcing of applicants and conducting general informational interviews to maintain a pipeline of strong applicant pool for upcoming & future opportunities at the agency.
*Responsible for applicant management/tracking and serve as primary user of HRIS system.
*Promote diversity initiatives and participate in college fairs, panels, recruiting events on/off site, etc.
*Responsible for strategy development, managing client relations, requisition management, talent sourcing, candidate screening, and full life cycle administration.
*Managing incoming unsolicited resumes in the careers inbox on a consistent basis.
*Conduct informational interviews as needed for high level executive & client referrals.
*Conduct reference and background checks on candidates as needed.
*Assist the team with key HR initiatives and departmental projects.
Basic Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree required; Entertainment and/or college recruiting experience a PLUS or equivalent combination of experience
*MINIMUM 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
Desired Characteristics:
*Exceptional communication skills, high level of confidentiality, strong follow through& attention to detail.
*Extremely flexible, proactive, highly organized, and ability to shift priorities, multi-task, and handle heavy work flow processing.
*Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients.
*Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate environment.
*Ability to assess staffing needs & develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs
*Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately (candidate's fit with the position and with the company culture).
*Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Internet savvy; experience with ATS or HRIS system is a PLUS.
