Search for Human Resources Assistant to Regional Lead jobs in Los Angeles-CA
We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant is both a hands-on and strategic role that provides human resources support to our business. The role is critical in providing support to our Regional Human Resources Lead in the Los Angeles office in executing our people initiatives and providing great internal customer support. Additionally, this position will utilize data analytics to develop reporting and analysis of key people trends. As well, this position will partner with the Regional Human Resources lead on special project as required.
Successful candidates will have:
1) previous administrative experience
2) a high level of initiative and the ability to anticipate needs and develop solutions
3) ability to comfortably work with ambiguity
4) ability to work with data to obtain the most critical learnings
4) ability to collaborate across boundaries and at all levels
5) a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
•Provide administrative support(setting up meetings, answering phones, developing presentations, expense reporting, etc.) to Regional Human Resources Lead
•Partner with Regional Human Resources Lead to ensure all follow-up actions are completed in a thorough and timely manner
•Serve as the first point of contact and information to business and human resources teams
•Support the onboarding new hires
•Support the offboarding of existing employees
•Using Workday HRIS system, Excel and other tools, analyze data and produce reports highlighting trends and potential areas of concerns
•Assist with the implementation of human resources initiatives, policies and projects
•Be a resource to human resources team members in offices outside Los Angeles
•Maintain utmost confidentiality with employee information and records
•Lead or participate in special projects/task forces as assigned
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree required
•3-5 years of Administrative Assistant experience, experience supporting a human resources function strongly preferred
•Entertainment industry experience strongly preferred
•Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal and written communication, and follow-up skills
•Attention to detail and strong organization skills
•Master level proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and Word required. Strong to master level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
•Experience working with an HRIS system required
•Highly organized and efficient; able to manage multiple projects/ tasks simultaneously and have the ability to meet tight deadlines, maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities and expectations
•Ability to achieve results in ambiguous situations
•Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is critical
•Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic global corporate environment
•Ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions and levels
