The Graphic Designer is responsible for the conceptualization, direction and design of graphic application, corporate identity and multimedia interfaces, to their completion. Proficiency in coordinating with all artists, photographers, illustrators,printers and anyone else who is involved in the development of a project.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-CD/LP/Cassette packaging (Layout, disc artwork, sheet insert/lyrics/notes, typography layout, logo placements, manufacturing labeling)
-Advertising (Print ads, web banners, YouTube pre-rolls)
-Promotional materials (Flyers, posters, stickers, Facebook/Twitter layouts)
-Tour materials (Tour admats)
-Industry materials (one sheets, etc.)
Job Qualifications:
1. Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts or related field, or equivalent visual design and management experience required. Experience in entertainment industry a must.
2. Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web; understanding of Flash
3. A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process.
4. Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns.
5. Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
6. Proficient in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Flash (Adobe Creative Suite).
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft office.
8. Knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects & video editing a plus.
9. Knowledge of HTML & CSS
10. Ability to make evaluative judgments.
11. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
12. Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule multiple work assignments maintaining strict deadlines.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
14. Familiarity with the heavy metal genre a plus, but not required
