An Entertainment Production Company that specializes in theatre, film, and commercials is seeking a self-motivated and highly organized Office Manager. This is a full-time position after 90-day probationary period with a view to permanent hire. You must be a leader who can work independently and be comfortable being someone that people depend on.
General Responsibilities
The Office Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and providing administrative support to the team. In your role, you will:
Help to establish and maintain office systems, enabling the office to work more efficiently and effectively
Interact with and manage interns schedules and tasks
Greet clients and guests when they arrive.
Manage office supply inventory and proactively purchase all office supplies and kitchen supplies
Maintain overall office cleanliness including conference rooms, kitchen, and storage areas
Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the company.
Required Skills
2+ years experience in a similar role, or write an outstanding cover letter that proves you have the skills and the ability to quickly learn what you don't know
You must have proficiency in MAC
Not required but helpful: experience with programs like Pages, Keynote, and Photoshop
Excellent written and oral communication skills
You must be able to multi-task and complete the tasks fully by the deadline
Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture
Be self-motivated and be able to work alone with continued efficiency
Must be adaptable to a fast paced and changing environment
Strong attention to detail required. Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
Occasionally required to run errands. Must have a dependable vehicle. NOTE: You will be reimbursed for any mileage/gas expenses.
Previous experience working in an Entertainment Production Company environment preferred, but not required
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
