Search for Features Department Coordinator jobs in West Hollywood-CA
Seeking an Executive Assistant/Coordinator at Below-the-Line agency, to start in the West Hollywood office immediately. This position will assist and support two senior agents in the Features Department. This position requires a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Applicant must have a positive attitude and possess the ability to afford strong attention to detail. Must be team player with a interest in film production or agency work.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Advanced telephone skills: answering phones, rolling calls, taking detailed notes, maintaining phone sheets, and keeping a professional and polite demeanor while utilizing discretion at all times
• Tracking and researching feature projects
• Generating client submissions, updating and preparing client materials
• Coordinate meetings and organize busy calendars for agents and clients
• Preparing important documents (contracts, deal memos, invoices, etc.)
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative support role
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Applicant must have experience with heavy phones (rolling calls, etc.)
• Applicant must possess a basic knowledge and passion for the film production process
• Applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, including but not limited to: resourcefulness, adaptability, diplomacy, discretion and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced work environment
• Proficiency in Apple-based Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) is mandatory. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and other media-based programs helpful. In Entertainment experience a plus
• Applicant must currently live in greater Los Angeles area and have access to reliable transportation
• Applicant must have Bachelor's Degree
• Business hours are 9:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday.
