Emmy Award-winning production company is seeking an Executive Assistant to the SVP of Business & Legal Affairs. This entry-level position will work provide a high level of administrative support and will also be responsible for data entry and filing.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Rolling calls and scheduling meetings
-Maintain workflow and manage sensitive, confidential information
-Tracking status of current projects and keeping the SVP up to date
-Physically filing and maintaining organization of legal documents, as well as scanning documents and maintaining the legal databases
-Comparing, drafting and proofing contracts, agreements and releases
-Submitting copyright applications for our scripted projects
-Assist with tracking music licensing for our scripted projects
-Submitting signatory applications for the guilds
Requirements:
-Interest in production management or business affairs
-Previous desk experience managing a high-level, busy executive
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
-Impeccable organization skills
-Detail-oriented
-Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
-Ability to proactively work alone, as well as part of a team
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
-Valid driver's license and car insurance
-Bachelor's degree preferred
-Minimum one-year commitment
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in the entertainment industry and ideally education in film/TV. We are looking for someone with an insatiable work ethic who is eager to get their foot in the door and grow within our company. We love to promote from within.
