A busy TV Production Company is seeking an Executive Assistant / Office Coordinator
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the business side of a television production company. The chosen candidate will work directly with the executives and owners of the company assisting them with the day to day tasks of running the company. We are very down to earth and fun to work with, but also very buttoned up in the way we run things. We are looking for someone to work with us long term, this is not a filler gig. This is a drama free, family fun company, no screaming allowed!
About us:
We mainly produce non scripted lifestyle television. This includes home improvement, design, food, and travel shows. We generally have between 5 and 10 series in production at any given time. We have two main offices and multiple satellite production offices across the country.
Minimum requirements:
- Experience working in an unscripted TV production office is a must
- Office management or executive assistant experience is a plus
- Ideal candidate must be computer savvy (Mac platform, trouble shooting office equipment and computers)
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced environment as well as have exceptional organizational skills and be able to multitask.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Office management (office supplies and craft services, troubleshooting equipment, coordinate office repairs and cleaning etc)
Working as a liaison between the main office and production offices around the country
Personal assistant duties - running errands / making appointments
Filling in as a Production Coordinator on sizzle reels and other development projects
Managing the executives' schedules
Setting up meetings
Setting up conference calls
Coordinating travel
Preparing expense reports for executives
Assisting accounting department with payroll preparation
Helping with various production needs
Dealing with client relations such as ordering gifts, setting up dinners, etc.
Helping manage website
Helping manage social media presence
Managing the swear jar
